DEOB uses layered controls intended to prevent unauthorized administrative access, unintended data exposure, and false status claims.

Administrative access

Administrative APIs require an authorization token and may require a configured administrative network. The public site does not expose administrative controls through ordinary navigation.

Payment controls

Payment-sensitive status changes depend on verified processor notifications rather than browser redirects.

Data boundaries

Data services remain disabled until source authorization, exact scope, offer configuration, and delivery testing are present.

Fail-closed behavior

When a required dependency is missing or unverified, DEOB should refuse to claim completion rather than manufacture a successful state.
